As twilight descends upon Rosicrucian Park this Halloween Night, the veil between worlds begins to thin.

Ancient energies awaken, and mystical portals open, bridging the present with the sacred past. Step into a realm where the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum becomes a living gateway to ancient Egypt.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of mythological death and rebirth, music and dance, and a rare chance to explore over 4,000 authentic ancient Egyptian artifacts under the enchantment of a very special Halloween Night at the Museum.

Where: Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, San Jose, CA

Who: All ages welcome (activities designed for families and history lovers alike)

Admission

  • Friends of the Museum: Free with RSVP (reserve a ticket for each guest in your party)
  • Standard: $20 online pre-order, $30 at the door
  • On-Site Sales: Begin at 4:00 p.m. (credit card only, while supplies last)
  • Refunds: All sales final

Check-In: Scan your QR code and receive wristbands at either the Front Desk or Peace Garden Check-In Station.

What to Expect

This is not your average Halloween party. Wander among ancient artifacts and moonlit gardens as you uncover a full evening of enchantment:

  • 👻Haunted Tomb Tour (Timed entries)
  • 🎨Hands-On Crafts for all ages
  • 🎵Live DJ and Dancing in the Peace Garden
  • 📷Photo Experiences (giant Isis wings, themed backdrops)
  • 🍭Trick-or-Treat with healthy treats and challenging tricks
  • 🚚Food Trucks with refreshments and snacks

Schedule

  • 6:00–7:00 p.m. | Trick-or-Treat
    Follow the illuminated path through Rosicrucian Park to collect healthy treats and master challenging trials. Costumes encouraged!
  • 6:00–9:00 p.m. | Haunted Tomb Tour
    Entry: Free, timed tickets available at check-in (first-come, first-served). Tip for families: First two tours (6:00 & 6:20 p.m.) are gentler for younger Junior Archaeologists.

Activities

  • Peace Garden DJ: From 6:00–9:00 p.m., groove under the stars in the Rosicrucian Peace Garden!
  • Costume Contest: Everyone who dresses up receives a free raffle ticket to win a special prize.
  • Photo Ops: Giant Isis wings and printed photos to keep memories of this special night.
  • Crafts: Ancient-inspired crafts that let imagination and history intertwine.
  • 7:00 p.m. — Junior Archaeologist Graduation: For participants who completed six or more museum workshops.
  • 8:00 p.m. — Costume Contest Raffle: All guests in costume are entered free.

Food Trucks: Food trucks on-site to refuel. Vegan options available.
